The application period for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate in Materials - IDS-FunMat - is now opened and until February 8th, 2012. This Doctoral programme in Function Materials for Energy, Information Technology and Health, results from cooperation between Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), several top quality European Universities and Waterloo Universitie, Canada.
The IDS-FunMat programme offers scholarships for PhD projects in Functional Materials Science, carried out in co-supervision between universities from two different countries, with compulsory participation of industrial partner, with double degree awarded. Thus, the programme represents an opportunity to live different cultural experiences during your studies.
For 2012/2013, twenty (20) thesis projects are proposed, nine (9) of those financed by Erasmus Mundus. Any MSc students from any country are welcome to apply.
